About Craig Penny artist
Born in Mildura, Craig has shown an interest in art and drawing from a very young age. He has created a successful career as a professional artist. In 1970, the family moved to the Western District of Victoria and Craig's love of art and artistic interests extended into ceramics and sculpture. Craig is skilled in a range of mediums, he taught traditional drawing, illustration and digital drawing at both Victoria University and Swinburne University. Craig never lost his love of using traditional methods and specializes in watercolour, acrylic painting and illustration. In 2001, Craig had his first major solo exhibition in Mt Eliza, Victoria. Craig's work has been accepted by Galleries and collections around the world His paintings remain in strong demand today.

2023 Day 3 Angkor Wat Temple
A funny day was had at Angkor Wat with Jane & her RED CHAIR. We were on the move following our guide to the next sketching spot. "WHERE IS MY RED CHAIR...? OMG, WHERE IS MY MOBILE PHONE !!! It all happened in a flash, Jane turned around ... ohh YES, yes it's my mobile turning back and HEY PRESTO!!! the RED CHAIR! Mr Craig as he is known when in these, shall we say, ' playful" moments "conjured up" first the Mobile then behind Jane's back, the RED CHAIR!!! A bunch of big kids really! Never found the RED CHAIR back at the hotel after but we will check again next year! Enquire about Commissions Throughout the year Craig takes on new commissions, working in his current style and colour palette.
